79 Chevy Luv i picked up in about mid-july last summer. my dad and i tore it down and built it back up. It came from a scrap yard with 25,000 original miles, a two barrel Weber carburetor, and A header  the guy that brought it in was going to put it in a demolition derby, but they told him he would die so he just brought it in thinkin it was worthless. well, i took it for $150 and the rest is in the pictures. i'll post a couple more of the finished product when i can in daylight. it's in the shop right now getting a new transmission so i cant really do anything at the moment.

Welcome to the site. Hope you're upgrading to a 5-speed while you're at it.

Thanks! I'm not currently upgrading, because the transmission that I'm putting in it is from another luv i had so it was free. i'm working on resizing the other pictures so i can post them too.

I was finally able to get a decent picture of her almost done. I'm still working on a bed lining and the skid plate needs a coat of black, but that's coming soon. We just got the rims painted yesterday. I'd say we've come a long way. Anyone want to see more pictures? I have plenty from the entire build.

Nice work! It was a good decision to rescue it from a scrap yard.
