Hey guys, Matt here
Image
I've had this thing for nearly 4 years and had little to no time to work on it. recently i've been trying to get it ready to pass an inspection so i can get it registered. i've recently put an 8" booster and a 7/8 wilwood master in to get the brakes working.

new booster and m/c all fitted and bled. brakes are 1000% better, still drums though... note this is a temporary fix to get this thing registered. more to come once it has passed roadworthy...

btw thanks heaps to mokadeth for my new manifold!

Okay so I have finally found time between other projects to spend some time on my little chevy luv.

I fitted new brake shoes and drums to try to even out a braking issue I had previously and with a little help from my good friend mr jack daniels got it to brake in a straight line again instead of pulling off the road.

I passed the mechanical inspection for registration renewal and now all I need is my registration papers to come through (its christmas time, might have a little wait on my hands) and it is back on the road.

I also fitted the new offenhauser intake manifold as supplied by mr Mokadeth and now my little chevy runs like a dream!

Apologies for the slight delay, I took some time out to work on other projects...

Its not a wilwood booster, i cant remember exactly what it is i just found something that might fit and modified the linkages to suit.

It turns out the master cylinder (260-9439-BK) and 8" booster combo was a little too violent with front and rear drums so i removed the booster and it feels great now.

I've had this thing for 8 years now and have been really enjoying driving it in its current glory but i think its time to make some small changes.
