cant wait to see the pair of them done and see how different they end up

Thanks, the 2wd got parted out though. The cab was rusted beyond being usable. Been doing a lot of dirtbike riding lately and the luv has been neglected. Have also been spending some time cleaning/moving junk around as the shop was turning into chaos. The luv and the skinny ford got introduced to each other for the first time

The ford's cab is 13" skinnier than it once was, it just has fat hips now

Injection and driveshafts are the last big money things left. Wiring, plumbing, headers/exhaust, bumpstops, there's still plenty left to do. I'm shooting on it being done around the new year. Started in on mounting the steering ram, hopefully will have it finished up tomorrow

Dude seriously that is awsome. I wish I knew how to fab stuff like that. Keep the pics coming. Getting ready to undertake a sort of stock rebuild on a 76. Nothing like that monster but still its encouraging to see sombody else with that kind of style.

Seems as if I've been working backwords. Built a front driveshaft, flexed to it to test clearance and found that it smooches the trans pan. Also need to notch the frame for coilover clearance. Here's what it looks like now.

Clearanced the front of the frame for the steering, got most the axle welded/gusseted, started mocking up the bumps, but it's going to be popped off so I can notch the frame

It'll spend a lot of time at Elbe. What I'm really looking forward to is getting it down to the dunes in Oregon

Not done yet. Life has been busy lately, haven't really touched it since the headers.

Here's another picture though

I was moving some stuff around in the shop and found this poor abondoned thing stuffed in a corner. Drug it out and built a bumper for it, after I went and bought a new holesaw arbor
