But I'm pretty sure they do not go beyond what is visible under the door... in other words... where your main cancer is.

lol, haul the "brat" out with you as long as you're not doing something too big. :) That's how I got interested in cars... my dad would wedge me in the engine bay and have me hand him wrenches and such. Good times... :D

lol, I'd be kinda hesitant to drive a V-8 LUV... Eh, if the kid knows what goes into the car he'll (she?) respect it quite a bit more.
That's what happened with my LUV... My dad blew the engine, and he and I fixed it when I came up on driving age.

So, what do you mean by mild HP upgrade? Hi-lift, quick acceleration cam, long duration, hi-rev cam? lol, whatcha doing?
I almost wish mine was a 2WD... engine upgrades sound like a kick in the pants.

by mild hp i mean probably invest in a good set of pistons(dont know which yet), probably full roller valve train ass'y, probably have to bore it out a little to get rid of any pitting from rust, aluminum intake, you know nothing outragous mostly streetable with a little time on the strip since its so close.
also very budget oriented. aint got alot of money but wanna do it right type of thing. :ewink

well, i got off work the other morning with big plans to go get a 4 inch wire wheel and start stripping the rear frame to prep for paint. :)

get off work at 6 am tuesday morning and guess what? there was 6 inches of snow on my freakin car!! :x and it was like that for both my days off!

how rude

seeing as how i dont have a garage and am doing the work in my yard, i didnt even have the option for getting anything done this set of days off

oh well suck it up and hope for the best next days off i guess!

Feeling kinda sheepish about asking, but how'd the 60 degree days go for the project?
