First of all I'm glad I found this forum! My grandfather gave me a Chevy LUV a few years back, and I've been waiting for the chance to begin my own restoration process. The only problem is that I have no experience with restoring vehicles, but I do have some knowledge in mechanics. Can you guys explain to me the correct restoration process for these trucks? I'm eager to begin this project and any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll post up pics of what I'm working with asap. Thanks!

Welcome to the site!

Take a look around the Projects/Builds section - you will find numerous threads that were started by other members that have started restorations.
Many of those threads are loaded with pictures of the progress made. Mostly a restoration takes time and determination to see it thru to the end.

Where are you located? There may be other members near you.

Good luck with your plans!

Yea I looked at a few of them and it motivated me even more. The first thing I want to do to it though is get it running. I figured the first thing I should do is remove and clean out the gas tank, drain and fill all fluids, and replace everything else that I would in a tune up. Is this correct thing to do first?
