on the cheapo console for my truck, costed under 15$... and i still have alot of Press board leftover. even after making a speaker box as well.

just in case anyone wants to make their own... less crappy version... i used paint to make a template.

but my buckets i think came out of a toyota? i'm not sure really. took the headrests off the seats now stop just below the rear window, i like that better.

the only thing that i didn't explain here, is the cell phone holder i made.

To give it a finished look if you choose not to paint, you can purchase a square yard of vinyl (black or other colors) at a fabric shop and carefully trim to fit. It is pretty cheap - you can also use it for door panels if you want the material to match.

Nice template work on the computer!

oh good point! i should do something along those lines to keep from getting random splinters.. or use better pressboard next version. when i have access to a jigsaw that wants to cut a small circle for the soda holders. lol i wasn't thinking fully, put it dead center. buddy looks at it goes "where's my cup holder" i reply "the glovebox"... he scowled at me.
