well my plans to have the 350 in by christmas is being side tracked because my motorcycle started making a not so good sound . for now i need the truck running to get to college. so no quick progress. need to get the carb to work, which isn't going very good, and replace the rear wheel cylinders

spent whole weekend so far working on truck. got the piece of junk stock carb to work again, replaced fuel pump again, rebuilt rear wheel cylinders and got brakes working again, and install different seat.all in all a rather productive weekend.

not much of an update but i blew the front seal out of my transmission and had to tow it home yesterday. needless to say im very disgruntled right now. had to walk home and almost sent the truck across the scrap scales. i'll pull the tranny thurs day afternoon and see if it is repairable.

that seat is awesome, what did it come out of? sorry to hear about your truck problems. it feel so shitty to have your truck towed because of a damn seal!

well looks like this is going to be yet another unfinished project thread for luvtruck.com. honestly the truck is past the point of return to me. rusted frame, bad floor boards, tranny is shot, beds rusted badly, parts are hard to find, and i'm poor. i have one person that is supposed to come by and look at it to buy for run around truck and have offered it as partial trade on a 88 s10 also. if both turn me down i'll part it out and scrap the rest. i'll just have to keep my eye open for one in better shape once i'm in a financially better situation.

Aww man...... That really does suck...... :signimsorry

So there's no chance of saving it, huh? Do you have anything else to drive? It's prolly too cold to ride the bike now. I had to put my ninja in storage a few weeks ago. :(

my wife has her car and i'm good on the bike unless there is ice/snow. if it all works out(CROSSING MY FINGERS) i'll have another truck to drive within the week.
