I guess three
bracket painted up
Image

and bracket on the bracket, and filter attached
Image

went ahead and mounted my radiator fan, used big zip ties pushed thru with another one on the back and snipped the tie ends off. used rubber spacers between the radiator and the fan to keep the radiator safe
Image

made my oil pump priming tool
Image

bed lined my stock skid plate
Image

reinstalled the brake booster and the lines, going to have to bleed the whole system and run new fluid into it but its there, im looking for that cap I think it made its way to the bottom of my parts box didn't have time.
Image

Image

also not pictured but done, picked up a few 3/8 pipe plugs for the spare ports on my intake/head, an adapter from 1/2 to 1/4" for my fan temp switch, and popped my temp sensor in, need to put some Teflon tape on and put them all the way in

I still need a lower radiator hose, new o rings for the oil filter adapter, a fuel inlet fitting and a few feet of fuel line

going back for a few hours tomorrow to get to work on the wiring since I have the power center mount set up and most of the major components in place, still need to mount the clutch master cylinder pretty sure I have the where figured out I just need to bore a hole for it and get it mounted up to the pedal. really hoping to be running by the 11th so I can get to that meet/show

I wanna say 16" i will measure it when i get over there its as big as will fit the radiator, the two little flats on the sides are the only way it fit between the end tanks. I figured the bigger it is the less time it will need to be on and the longer it will last

got into the wiring a lot today spent my whole day over the working on it along with the mounting for the clutch master cylinder
I got all the fuses, ground wires, the trigger wires, 12v+ to relays and all but two of the power from relays wired up. wired up the radiator fan to its relay and temperature switch, ran wires for the distributor it just needed 12v from battery and tach wire to the tach it will be ready to go as soon as I drop the distributor in, im just missing a few of the wire spade ends I will pick up hopefully tomorrow. beyond that all of the wiring in place for the truck to run :ebiggrin

huge mess of wiring, didn't take many pics wiring isn't very fun to look at
Image

got most of it wrapped up and put the power center back together
Image

really close to having it run, I need a couple ball and socket flanges and I will be ready to fab my exhaust, an fuel inlet fitting and and couple little things like that and it would be ready to run 8)
getting really excited its been sitting a year now

If you have enough room in front of the radiator put the fan there. They are more efficient as pullers then pushers. I ran out of room.

didnt have enough room behind the radiator. hopefully the overkill size makes up for lost efficency

well fuel inlet fitting was the wrong size so i called holley and found the one i need.

finally dropped my driveline off at six states' driveline shop today, should be back end of next week and i can put in the new u joints, i measured it at 47" center to center on the u joints with the yoke all the way in the transmission they said they are going to take an inch off for travel so end length 46" but my engine is sitting on modified mounts and a custom trans xmember so anyone else even with same trans will have a slightly different length.

got my valve cover breathers and heater hose fittings tested, everythings good

Image

adding whatever small chrome bits i can justify buying

lunchtime update mostly pics.
got my wiring to and from the relays all hooked up, wires for the ign switch and distributor are ran and have ends installed, wiring is pretty much done just need to hook up to the ign switch i dont have and distributor once its in. and i need to run the battery cables
painted grill and bezels and installed badge
Image

made this bracket for my clutch master cyl the hook at the top that used to hold the clutch cable will hold the eyelet on the push rod for the master cyl which will be facing me so the pedal can push it with the motion that used to pull the cable.and the resovoir and pressure line will be ran through the cable hole

Image

Image
painted this so i can get my grill on

thanks dude, I still need to come up with a chrome paint marker and do the trim around the bezels but beyond that I like it, I spent forever masking on the chevy emblem the groove around the blue between the chrome got painted black and then the blue in the middle, everything else got cleaned up I probably spent 45 mins cleaning, masking and painting it
got a decent amount done today
got all the relays wired up and the trigger wires run to the ignition switch
Image

got my valance back in there and got the other headlight bracket in there but it isn't pictured
Image

got an ignition switch and wired it up to all the relays
Image

picked up a battery box going to install the battery tomorrow
Image

got my heater core hoses, vacuum advance hose and fuel feed hose, the heater hoses are clamped down and ready to go will add the coolant and oil tomorrow
Image

went and spent a bunch on money on a carb stud, syncromesh manual trans fluid, antifreeze/coolant, clutch hydraulic fluid, brake fluid, simple 3 pole ignition switch, battery box, all the hoses, lower radiator hose, new headlight bulbs all of them are the h5006 hi/lo beam bulbs, distributor hold down clamp, picked up one of those three gauge sets but I don't like the look of it so im gonna take it back in favor of a couple single gauges, and picked up a throttle cable bracket that isn't right for my application so I am going to make my own. im sure there was more I ended up spending a little over $230 today but really all that is left now is the driveline that I will have back at the end of the week, the truck is really close to being on the road hopefully by next weekend I will be ready to drive around a little.

alright was another long afternoon but got a good bit done. not a lot of pics but nothing exciting visually happened.s
bought 8' of 0/2 cable for my batt to starter and installed it thru my bed floor, i drilled 3 1/2" holes in a row for all the wiring. also ran a 4ga wire from my battery to my relay box and one from my alternator to my relay box.
heres the battery box mounted and battery connected
Image

of courseni gotnexcited and went and keyed on the ign swotch to see ifbitnwas working annd bam on comes thebfuel pump and sprayed gas all over my intake manifold.. whoops shoulda hit the toggle off first... but on the plus side the power works now! headlights didnt come on so i need to check my wire plug in the dash and make sure i didnt miss something.

went ahead and installed all this... can you tell she was getting mad i wouldnt put the tools down and call it a night
Image

also got the lower rad hose on and got hose clamps on everything that needed one.. finish line is in sight
