Well i got the 2.5 out and the mounts bolted in . Only 2 of the 3 bolts are accsssible and they are a pain to get in so welding the mounts is mansitory in my opinion . I cleaned up the frame with my 4 " grinder and a wire wheel so i can haul it down to the race car shop and have them welded . I'll get the motor in when i finish the mounts . Im going to see if he has a panish hammer for an air chisel and have the floor flange messaged while i got it over there . Here are a couple of pics i'll add some more later .

Hey guys i haven't updated this in a while . The S-10 turned out to be a rust bucket . Both the cab corners were gone the rockers had bubbles and the winsheild frame sealed the deal . I ended up trading it even up for a 78' Nova . Both were rollers . The Nova is not perfect , but way better than the S-10 only needing the passenger side quarter extention replace . The car has actually been setting in a field in Bryan / College station area since 92' . It is still customized from the disco era . Anyway this is what i started with .

Well i took a couple of pics today . Got the old lower quarter off and the rust cut out . Fit the new one back in and welded it out . Also got the first and second skim coats over the repair . Here are the updates . The car is supported under the frame , so suspentuion is at full droop .

Hey, I got one of those! I have been taking care of this one for my daughter for 2 years now. It was a father son project that I got after the son graduated college. It is in no way fast though, which is good for a daughter. It has a 250/6 with a single barrel carb with Turbo 350. My daughter wants something different now so I am getting ready to sell it off.

I know yours is faster!

Well i got the quarter blocked down and pretty straight . Most of the car is blocked and primered . Made some headway on the motor and it is closer . Finished up some small stuff like bolting in the crossmember , trans mount , shifter cable and adjustment . Got the lines bent and flared for the line lock . Pulled the bumpers for paint and im preparing them for the bracket and brace diet . I also got some trailer lights from harbor frieght it make the tail lights work . My backs are gone , so im building backs from sheetmetal that will bolt to the bezel bolts . Anyway here are a couple of pictures . I'll try and get some better ones up tommorow .
