well the reason i went to the newer doors is to get rid of the vent windows.....and i am in the process of removing the sliding rear window to a solid glass.

well my finished goal is to have it bagged and shaved. i like the 1.8 and will probably keep it that unless the motor goes down but i have heard nothing but good things about the little luv trucks being tough trucks. my dad had one when i was 2 or 3 and everybody in my fam has owned one at one time. nobody in my town is building one and i wanted to be diff. everybody has a s-dime or ranger or full size something bagged and slammed or body dropped. the luv has a distinct look to it. it looks like its moving just sitting still. the rake on the doors is what i like more than anything. if everything goes like i want it to. the truck will have a restored interior other than the dash. i want put a bel air dash in the future or something unique. the seat will probably end up being removed and buckets put in. i am going to keep the factory tail lights. all the side marker lights will be shaved and along with the emblems. havent decided whether i want to shave or french the antenna. i want to build a cowl hood or keep it factory. shave the rear smooth. and remove the bumpers and shave the front roll pan smooth. the wiper cowl will be shaved, all but the wipers. i will keep them as i daily drive the luv. i am up for anything new and diff. I am also an open ear for advice. lol.

This is my old one that I shaved cab forward and put a toyota bumper on. Also the 17 inch escalades helped its look. Would of loved to bag it but back then I didnt know better.

no problem....the ones in the junkyard are in rough shape as far as interior. he has two 79 model doors only passenger side though. has a truck with vent window doors. has one solid back glass....no good beds or tailgates. and no good grill shells or head light bezels. i will look at the bumpers to see if any are good
