I painted my truck today. I used a quart of gloss black rustoleum and mineral spirits and a sure line foam roller. It took about 5 hours. As you can tell I didn't give a hoot about the dings. LOL I'm going to let is cure then buff it out if it will buff. The nasty yellow was bugging me...

Looks like you put it on thick, that means you have enough thickness to give it a few rounds of wet sanding and then go at it with the polishing wheel. If you got the patience, it'll make it that much better. Also I think you don't have to let it cure that much before color sanding, (couple of days maybe) but don't wax it for a couple of months.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

Its looking all right.

Black would have been the worst color to pick, it shows up dents heaps more than a light colour.

Cheers, Bob.

I was thinking about painting my Black like that but I have decided to make it the light blue.
