Got them in, motor and trans back in and bolted. I got lucky, my home made mounts worked with the headers.

I guess I can throw thses small restrictive things away now.

It was a fun job, I had to pull the engine out completly. If you are doing a small block swap get these headers to install the first time.

Man-oh-man that's cold...and original. Haven't heard that one before. Ron is it true? Did you really do Halloween over the phone? Before someone takes a shot at me for some reason, I know I'm ugly, I just like beer to make myself more tolerable of me!

By the way, looks like you did one helluva job there. Alot of work and you did it pretty quick.

The old headers are not worth shipping, trust me.

That is a good one. I'll have to use it sometime. And yea, cool that you got it done today.

That is why I preach to the people that want to small block their LUV to plan ahead and make the install serviceable. I can actually pull the engine or just the trans or both together if I want. I know others have done this too. The removable trans cross member is a life saver.

Heater? Then you built your truck too well. Most guys' V8's run so hot in their LUVs they don't need heaters. :P

I got off my dead ass and finially got it running yesterday. I now need to cut the X Member and weld in the 1/2 pipes so the exhaust will tuck better, thanks Ben for the idea. Hope to have the truck done by the weekend so I can clay bar it and get ready for car show season.

It's done....I have been driving it around for a couple of days now, sounds great. I pulled up to a Saleen Mustang today at a light, he reved so I did too, he rolled down his window and said "I don't want to embaress myself today" and gave me a thumbs up. Man I love driving it around town. Next is the 76, it is running but still needs a few things.
