I thought I would make a thread on my new 1975 Stepside.

This is what it looks like now when I bought it. All you not Texan or a southern person please excuse my writing. I speak Texasaneese. As a rural Texan may. College and working in Houston did not break it.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

It has a stock engine, with Weber Carb, header.

Not sure what and how to do some of it.
Fix fuel pump

Fix the fuel hose to the tank, filer.
Some of the above just needs to be done to make things better.

Fix turn signal switch
add interior door latch little chrome trim
The above were supplied by 2 Luvtruck.com members. Thanks guys
I do not know if they want their names posted or not?

Fix interior.
Install the A/C that was on it previously.
Install the heater.
add Power Steering
add tilt column

Fix any body work.
Paint? Even if it is flat black it needs to be done correctly.

Engine, Transmission, keep or stock? It will have to remain stock for a while. Need to save up some $$$

Your truck looks a lot like my old 76 did back in the 80's. Right down to the International Harvester tail lights. Mine was yellow though, and wound up in Yakima Wa. with a V8 in it. 8)

Nice truck to start with. I have that same grill hanging up in my shop, still not sure if I want to install it on my truck, it looks good on your truck.

I do like the dual Luv headlights, but my old 79 4x4 had signal head lights, which I like too.
