Build thread as promised.

Has had a cheap teal paint job covering some rust, 231 Buick V6 and auto trans. Truck was originally auto so it looks at home. Comercially produced steel flatbed, assumably by the conversion manufacturer.. The dually conversion is unique in that it's all in the wheels. first wheel bolts onto the hub, second wheel bolts onto the first using seperate studs. I'll have more pics soon and will start a build thread. Plans are to get it running and rock it as is. Fixing rust issues as I go along of course.

Here is a visual for how the dually conversion works.

Not much happening here, lots going on around the house and making necessary repairs to my other cars.

I did manage to purchase an engine swap for this little Luv. Toyota 1UZFE V8 commonly found in Lexus vehicles. Since it's auto-tragic, it'll work great in this auto truck. I'll be putting the oddfire V6 that's in it up for sale. The Buick engine is a pretty neat swap but I want the reliability and smoothness of the Yota V8, 250hp/250tq ain't nothing to sneeze at either. I've got experience with the 1UZ since it's what is in my 34 Ford Pickup.

I'll be using the front suspension from the LS400 for a Rambler station wagon project. It comes out as one handy unit.

Pretty neat truck there, that dually setup is slick! Looking forward to seeing your progress.
