I live in Orem UT and I'm trying to figure out what motor I should put into my luv. I kinda wanted to rebuild the stock motor but it is cracked. What do you recommend?

ive done quite a few swaps. hondas saabs alot of dodges the luv i even put a small block into a 83 nisan king cab. getting ready to put a 5.7 magnum in a 69 cuda. depends on what you wanna do.

its best to start with something similar. late 80's early 90's toyota, nissan or isuzu rwd car or truck. preferably you would be able to gt the whole vehicle. never know what else you can use. another consideration you have to count on is smog. i believe orem is a yearly smog. i live in tooele and dont have to deal with that.
89 nissan 200sx would be a cheap solid way to go. the rwd CA20 is a good motor not a hp monster but reliable.
if you get the ca20 in you could later swap to a sr20 i see tons of these around complete with harness and turbo for about 1500. let me know if you wan tspecific info on something.

ill be in your neck of the wood s this weekend jeepin around in my stroked zj lol
