Well I have about 25hrs into the wiring. Most of it is research and double checking. I don't really know what I'm doing so I'm taking my time. Still need to cut more out

I've been following this thread. Man I can't believe the wiring you have to do. That alone wouls steer me in a different direction...no patience. Can't wait to see the end result.

dont give up. sometime you have to go through a few headacks to do something no one else has done. but keep it up. i got some subaru guys all freaked out about your luv  . but i cant wait to see more progress on this. after seeing this build and all the confusing wires, made me want to join in on the fun in messing with the wires as well. so im going to which to fuel injection on my project. i think? :? . but still wont be as cool as yours. keep it up. and have fun with all that. just remember ITS EASY.

I agree with the other guys... Keep making progress on this build. At first I was only mildly interested in this build but I've found myself thinking about how cool this could be everytime a subaru passes me. I hope you eventually get the all wheel drive functional too. That would be soo cool.

Anyhow, keep up the good work. Good luck. Looks good. What ever else I need to say to keep you motivated.

Wow thank you for all of the word of encouragement. This project is taking a little long than I had planned and a lot more money 8O but you guy are definitely keeping me going.

I have been working a lot of over time so I haven't had to much time to work on it but now I do have some money to spend on parts. It looks like work is starting to slow down so hope to have some good updates in the next few weeks.

Sorry no real updates I have still been doing a lot of OT at work and have been doing more research on the wiring.
I did finish up on my daily drive this last week.
I have a 05 WRX Wagon with a lot less work done to the motor than what I have planned for the truck. I got 281WHP and 260TQ on daily drive tune.

I'm taking a 2 week road trip south this weekend but when I return it is balls out on the truck.

Subarus are the stuff... always been a fan of the H-4. The possibilities of a turbocharger and FI with AWD in a LUV just... I dunno. Freakin' Sweet!

So I haven't really work on it in a while but still looking for parts here and there. I picked up some cams. Duration is the same but the lift is higher. Should start on heads and then complete the long block the first of the year. Then I can start to sqeeze it in.

please excuse my ignorance. but why did you un-loom the wiring. the engine harness will route on the motor the same way. are you using the complete harness for the entire truck? its an awsome build cant wait to here about it on the road.

not knocking the guys with the V8's but i just got done with my sr20 turbo and 11psi boost. this truck is retarded quick and passing on the freeway is like butter. plus with a 4cyl you get to keep the nimble handling of these trucks.

There are a lot of wires that I don't need to run the engine and that is all the wiring I'm going to use. Some of the wire that I have taken out are Keyless entre, ABS, Airbags, TGV's and more.

Well not to much. The wiring is done till I get them motor in. I picked up some cams that I needed to plug some holes. I got the heads cleaned up and as soon as the outside temps come up a little I will put the heads on.

But all in all not much. But I have been saving some money up so as soon as it warms up it should go fast.
