Got some parts today from http://gpiperformance.com/. Will be taking the .02 over pistons to Bearing Services today to have the cylinders bored to the pistons size. This is cheaper than getting custom pistons made.

Sence I'm a little light with the money right now. It is time to do all the stuff that doesn't take any.
I took the motor and trans out and next is to start on the rats nest of the ECU

With time and no money I have started the wiring

I have traced all wires coming out of the ecu and now for the other 2/3 I need to find out what they are and cut them out.

Next week I can get my long block done. I got some overtime that should pay for the seals and gaskets.

Well back to the rats nest.

The pic is of the short block from the side. Subaru engines are setup like the old VW aircooled rear engines. Subarus are in the front and are watercooled. but the layout is the same idea also know as a boxer engine.
the engines are also used is small aircraft.

I wish I could keep the AWD. I will be looking into it next year but for now it will be RWD.
I am using the WRX trany but I will be converting it to RWD only and plugging the the front axle holes.

No not much. I have been working overtime at work and haven't had much time on the projects. I have do more of the wiring but it just looks like a bigger mess than what I started with. :?
