September 13th, bring it, and I won't have to guess. Right now, I'm guessing #8 or #9 qualifier on the LUV side of the bracket. Still pretty impressive...

It went 1.28 60ft off the back wheels. Small shot!!! on that video.
Got the bars on it for new motor, should do some 1.18 60ft with small shot off the line and big shot will take it home. Will not be up and running by September 13th .I'm still building the new motor. Cant talk trash until it's done. I’ll try to go to that race to meet yawl.Got a lot of work to do on the truck.

This appears to be a go! What is the location , date and time? I see alot of my truck is faster but nobody has to worry about mine, it is up on stands not running yet and it is not a race truck (maybe I will have it complete by labor day) But I would love to come watch and meet some other LUV owners!!

why does it have to be so far away. Its like a 9 hr drive for me. Maybe someone can video it so we'll all be able to see it. If it were a little closer i'd make the drive. I might anyway i have kinfolk up in or around jacksonville.

lol i wish i could take a vacation day, but i work offshore so id have to take a vacation week.

i got the truck in a trade and it was already built except for the motor that wasnt finished yet. i finished the motor and started it up and it had no oil pressure. so i took it back out had it all redone and found my problem. since then i only had the chance to bring it to the track one time. the first past it ran 11.2 i think and the second it ran 10.88 i think it was. the first time it spun on the line and then was on the rev limiter on the big end. so i thought being it spun on the line maybe caused it to shift early, but that wasnt the case cause the second time it launched good and was still on the rev limiter. i was only shifting at 5600 and my rev limiter was only set at 6700. so next time im gonna raise it up to shift @6700 and rev limit at 7000 and see how that goes. should get 10.50's i think. it has a very mildly built sbc406 in it with a glide.
