well i decided that im junking the 4cyl engine in the luv and im gonna run a 305, and a 700r4.
the engine came out of a 87 chevy truck, and it was tbi. i swapped over to a carb and short water pump, and ditched the serpantine setup. should run good. i just need headers and an oil pan. plus i made new control arms for my toyota spindle swap, i will post pics later

They do have torsion bar front ends but once you bag the front end the support bar going to the front core support has to be taken off so you have to triangulate the lower control arm to make it an A-arm.

By the way Wayne just wanted to say hey. You probably recognize the truck from Facebook.
