I hope your posi is from at least that year model, the early 7.5 had 28 spline axles, the later has 30...

I made sure the posi was the correct spline count.

As far as the heads I am not really sure what they are, they are not stock, they are aftermarket steel heads I believe they are called wicked heads, but the numbers do not get a hit. I did not build the engine I bought from the person that owns the shop the truck is in. He orginally had it in a '68 camaro convertable his teenage daughter was driving to school and someone decided to sugar the gas tank and it broke a rocker stud, so he replaced it with a 350 and rebuild the one I have. I am just rambling on, but i thought it was kinda a neat story.

It is not in my garage, I have a real good friend and mentor that is letting me use his shop. But he got the lift at a car show for less than $2200 installed, show special or something.

Thanks

That is a good price. There is a place in Ind. that have a hoist for around $1500 I believe. A friend of mine got one. Not too bad for a cheapo, but you wouldn't want to use it everyday in a shop.

On the subject of the lift, I just bought a house that has a garage with a 12 foot ceiling and will be buying one in the spring. Do you know what brand it is?? I want to go with Bend Pak but they are $$$. But they got to be safe too.

Greg Smith Equipment Sales Inc. It is in Indianapolis, Indiana. The cheapest 4 post hoist is $1995. Here is a link:http://www.gregsmithequipment.com/Vehicle_4_Post_Lift_s/36.htm. I have been thinking about getting one of this but need to save up the money first. Buying racing parts is more important!!

he got it as a show special and got them to throw in the install too. i will look for the model amd manufactur but it will be this weekend before I can get back over there. It is a 220V hydralic unit. It is more for storage rather than service but it is nice when you need to get underneath it to work and not crawl.

Here is a link to a lift dealer that is good priced and it is the same that is in the picture. It even looks the same for less than $2000. As soon as I am I am going to get on.
