I would remove the cab if you are going to do air ride and a V8. The Trans crossmember hangs below the frame and your going to have to make a new one anyways since you cant run the exhaust under the crossmembers if you want to lay frame. It could all be done with the cab on but once you get under there and start doin it youll wish you would have pulled it.

Also gives you the chance to paint the frame and undercoat or paint the bottom of the cab. :)

getting some floor pans out of an olds that is cut up in my back yard hopefuly it will be a little easyer than just bending around some sheet metal
