Love this truck, recently found one in a paddock in Australia I'm about to start on. Really digging alot of your ideas.

Luv truck has been collecting dust. No motivation to work on it.

But had some motivation to lower the beater today.

Been slowly chipping away at sheetmetal work inside the luv truck and the dash. No pics. Just one of the s10 cleaned up. Makes it look really nice lol

Really nice. I like the way the flares and tires came out. Sitting low that stance is killer. So when's the LS motor going in?

I finally found the ignition switch to the damn truck so I figure I'd see if the truck would start up with the different intake and injectors. Hasn't ran in months I figure the battery would be dead. Good to hear it run. Gave me a little motivation to get it going. Not worried about having the dash finished right now.

Well a guy called me up about the truck Saturday. Came and looked at it Sunday, left me a deposit. I tire it apart last night, and he just came and picked it up. Partially sad to see it go but I've been toying with the idea of selling it for close to a year now. Sold it as a roller. The motor will eventually make it into the s10. I will own another luv truck one day.

Sorry to see it go. I don't know how much you got for it, but it wasn't enough for all those years of work put into it. Sometimes you lose interest, and when you do, you just can't get it back. You'll probably have sellers remorse for a short while, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

If he checks it out he will be in for an eye opening journey through time. Maybe then he'll realize what all went into getting the truck to where it is now. Are you on any of the S-10 forums?

Wow, what a great thread! Your LUV truck was a work of art. I'm resurrecting my 74 V-8 LUV once again and have almost sold it several times during the past 30 some odd years of ownership. I'm going to give it another go especially after reading your build. Good luck on your S-10. Hope to be reading about your progress soon.

I know its not the luv but ive been slowlyyyyy working on the s10. Needs alot still but getting stuff mocked up.
