I have looked all over the site for pics showing the progress on tubbing a bed. I have been unable to find any info. Does anyone have pics of the tubbing process? Where to start cutting? How much to cut? How to resecure the bed to the new frame? Bed mounts? Any info or pics would be appreciated.

I don't have any pics of mine at the moment. But I'll try to get some in the next few days,(Just went back to my work rotation tonight). Basically, Mine are made in sheet metal similar to a fleetside bed, Bed attachments are angle welded from narrowed frame to the stock bed mounting spots...

To start order a set of steel tubs from Summit. With those in hand the rest will be easy.

I have the tubs. My concern is where the rear clip loops up. Looks like it will have to come through the bed also.

When i tubbed mine i made my own box mounts out of 2X2 box tubing and welded tabs on the side to get them out off the way and it also let me lower the bed as well.

I've tried to take some pics of mine for you, but it's up on jackstands, and I can't get the pics to come out right. I will try to get it down in a day or two where I can roll it outside...

Thanks for the pics Luvrv8. What are the measurements on your frames rails at the rear? Mine is 21 inches and supposed to be set up for 31x18.5x15 but the rails look wider than yours. My rear end is 31 1/4 wide

Luvrv8 - Any idea what the back spacing is one your rims? Are they 15x15? How much space do you have between your tires and frame rails? I just mocked up a set with 5 1/2 inch back spacing and they set about 1 1/2 inches off my frame rails. Just wondering if the was to close or would be ok. Don't want to rub when making turns or anything.

I do run 15X15's, the measurements you stated sound correct. My frame rails are 17" outside to outside, cant remember the backspace.

My frame rails are only 21 inches outside to outside and rear end is 31 1/4. Trying to make sure before I order tires and wheels.
