I got this 79 Luv from a friend a couple of weeks ago. Traded him a car that I paid $300 for. The truck runs good and has a weber carb and header. The wireing is a mess though. I will need to go through it soon but it works for now. It looks like the owner before my friend was a tweeker for sure. All the 4x4 stuff works good so Im just gona wheel it. Heres a picture from a week ago.

I took the bed off last weekend and made some mud flaps using 1" square tubing and pieces of a conveyer belt. Threw some trailer tail lights on and here it is.

So far this week Ive been tinkering with it so this is what Ive done. 3" body lift and cranked up the torsions a little. I fixed the core support because someone rapped a chain around the bumper and core support cross member. I had to cut it out and add in a brace using 1" square tube.

I found some stock Blazer rims and torched the little ring off the center so they would fit over the hubs. I had some 31/10.50/15 Xterrains lying around so I through them on. I cut out the fenders like I saw on a truck here. I liked the look so I copied. :D .

I still have to make my front bumper and grill. I will also be building a flatbed. I will try to take pics as I go.
