Dont tell me you are afraid of a hurricane.

Good luck on the truck and even better luck on the hurricane, be safe and I hope no one has any major problems with it. My parents live in South Flordia so I understand the waiting game.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.

nasty trip was great....tech'ed in.... getting ready...... i let a little black falcon or comet go ahead of me and the next thing i know he leaves out of shape....goes from the right lane too the left over the guard rail on the left side and threw the wood wall and rolled over 1 or 2 times. 8O it took them about 45 minutes to get it back together.
truck ran like shit! got to figure out the stock shifter and how to shift AGAIN!!!! i only got two passes in 1st one maybe half track..miss shift into NEUTRAL  felt ok, second pass left it in drive and it sounded like a single speed trans and only ran a low 7 but throttle cable was pulling out of the adjuster housing. the oil leak started again it smoked at the end of the last run so i called it a day and watched the others run. there were three other luvs out there a few s-10s overall the nasty had a good turn out for sunday. we have pic's on our web site and i will try to post a link later.

question on the radiator, did you flatten the bottom tabs, I have the same radiator and I made a mount the puts the radiator in front of the rame about 2 inches below frame level because it looked like the raditor fill cap would hit the hood when closed. and what kind of ;lower pulley did you use? I am using a 2 groove.

Thanks for the great build it looks great

i did not flaten the bottom tabs but mt tabs are the same height as the front support and i did not have anyproblem with the rad cap hitting the hood, there is more room under the hood than looks i know it fooled me.i'm using a two groove pulley but it is for a short water pump set up, my old long water pump set up would not work on this truck motor was to far forward this time.i will see if i have a picture and post it.
