got it tuned. having issues with the trans shifting. tuners think its wiring.. current performance thinks its tuners or trans problem.

i added a wire in that the tuners said it needed, and now it is shifting, but still jumps gears while driving. waiting to hear back from tuner. trans also is leaking now.

but ive been driving it around the neighborhood to see if itll start shifting any better and whatnot. took some pics at the park and a quick vid.

Your truck looks great man. Keep us up to date on your transmission situation. I want to know all I can about this as it is what I plan to do in a few years. Looks great though!

You probably already know this but if you disconnect the battery the computer will relearn it's basic functions at start up. Don't know if it will put back the stock tune or not, or alter the shift points and hardness ect. At least it shouldn't hurt anything.

Nice jeweled dash 8)

I'm gonna guess and say 3" red surface conditioning roloc disc on a drill press.

thanks guys. been a blast so far.

got a little more in depth with the alignment this time, got it driving straight and seems to be good now.

digital gauges were being funky and i went through the programming and it was setup for the 150 psi senders and i have 400 psi, so thats good. and if the psi was below 20 the readout would blink. its now setup to blink as a warning when its below 4 psi so no worrys there..

removed stock plate bracket, drilled and tapped frame and mounted plate up higher so itll quit dragging on everything.

adjusted bed some since it looked funky from behind, through off the bodyline a hair, so ill tinker with that tomorrow.

few night pics.. i dunno how to work the camera so deal with them.

not very. at first i was just setting my toe, not messing with camber since i will be driving at different heights.. was still pulling. then i was lookin at truck eairler and noticed one side cambered in more then the other, which will cause it to pull as well. so i set the truck at a height ill try and drive at most the time, and set the camber. drive straight now. didnt mess with caster cause i cant do a whole lot of adjustment with it since if i give it negative caster, the upper arms will hit my shocks..

very nice. do you know much about IRS setups?? i was thinking it would be something different to do. bagged IRS and lowered on coilsprings up front. i want to keep it 4wd so LSD rear end, and coils up front to keep the 4wd usable for snow days and such.. its something different i guess, i dont wanna do the same thing everyone else has already done and i sure as hell cant match a setup like you and bagged79 have going just to name a couple lol.

made a rough template for dash top.. need to fit the ends better. gonna leave it for now. i like it better then seeing all the wiring unfinished. i think ill have the same guy that cut my dash pieces do the top too. friend said he can do it out of .063 aluminum.

put down 332/320 in 2nd.. he said if he dyno'd it in high gear itd be at like 180 mph, but it should put down 340ish. he said to put a 3.73-4.10 in it..

when he did the first pull it only put down 230hp.. so all this time ive been driving around with that much power haha.. only had 5 degrees timing i think he said.

they said those were very respectable numbers for a 5.3 with the stuff i have done. So that makes me happy.
