Got alittle more done today, poped of the old luv 4x4 emblem and welded up the holes, drivers fender is all sanded down and ready to get primer, and the passager fender is started on and part way done, heres pic's.

We just took it down to metal because it was just easier just to stip it, whoever had it befor me rattle can rhino liner it and it just looked like crap and a really crapy job. Just dumb wy people do that, any kind of rattle can job really. Cheaper yes but last no, look nice for a week or maybe a view months depends on how you do it. It holds water and make rust worse.

Mines not to bad, for wat it is. its in really great shape. underneath there just service rust and the rocker panel and wheel wells just service rust! Im happy! 8)

Well Working for a living sucks! haha Didnt get to work on my luv all summer. Well back to college and now the last 2 days ive got alot done. I wish i took some pic's, i had a few holes in my floor board that i didnt see, with all the metal shavings and dirt to cover it. Cut the rust hole out and welded in a new piece of sheet metal.

I didnt get any farther on my sanding.

Im gona start rebuilding the flat bed. Needs to be built strong! Wanta drive it so bad!

I got some new wheels! there only 31s but the rims like 9in or 10in, the last (old ranger ones) were like 7 and the 31s on that were really shot. I like the look of the black rims!

Well plans changed and Im putting a bigger radiator in! I just happend to have one from a 92 ford explorer and its in and all mounted up! the bottem outlet hose will be a tight fit. Really tight!

It was pretty straight forward, It fits in there really nice, But i have to run a Elec fan tho, no manual one would fit. The only problem will be with it is the outlet port on the rad, is at a downward angle. Its only above the steering box by about 2" so its gona be fun to get hose on there. If it had been a straight outlet it wouldnt be a problem. But its what i got. Ill get pics up of the fan on it. The fan was out of a 89 honda civi, its got a metal shoud. so it was just weld and bolt on to the rad.

But i did have to cut the core suport out some, I cut the old rad mount out and cut out that box thats right next to the body mount. I can get pix's if you want.

Well i got the passager door primed and ready to go, now its the drivers door now. Ive got alot of pics to put up. Ive got most of the flatbed mounts built, just gota weld them on. Ill get more pics soon.

Hows your truck coming (love4theluv)?

i just installed the electronic distributor from a 85 p'up along with all new ignition parts, coil, plugs wires etc etc...

waiting for payday on thursday to pick up some new tires since mine are BALD and to send crinos96 the payment for the turbo manifolds and turbo for my engine :ebiggrin cant wait to throw some boost at it
hunting for some seats and a way to recover my dash after iu get the rest of the truck up to par.
will be another 2-3 months before i finish the efi/turbo swap but i may throw the turbo on and run the weber rich to get a feel for it.
