next week is my last week at my current job, then i start my new job. pipefitter apprentice at BP refinery in texas city.. cant wait to start. gonna be making alot better money than i am now, so progress should be a little faster.

decided to throw the inners on to see how they fit, and i think the might actually fit. gonna be a tight fit. i wont be running those tires, but some a little shorter, but a little wider. i dont think ive ever seen inners.. my first luv didnt, and the blue one didnt, but the black one did.
Image

welded up the mount that bolts down my front clip finally
Image

cut 6 tabs. these are used to bolt my front clip in by the firewall.
Image

one side welded to body, other side bolts in for clip..

Image

bolted front bumper up to get it from outisde.. im pretty damn good shape..only thing i hate about is how the radiator will show so much. so im looking for ideas on how to cover it up some..

Cover the radiator with one of ctmandu's fiberglass early valance's. Cut some vertical or horizontal slots to allow air to pass through for cooling and it would bring the front of the truck down with the rest of it.

hmm thats not bad at all.. is there a way you could somehow drop down a section in the middle and make it flow right? i would have no problems paying extra for this as long as we can come up with how itll look before making..

i wont need this for a while if i decide to go this route.. i cannoy be spending money atm.

I think that looks great with that bumper. I 'm having a full frame built and had a guy give me an idea of making a plate that goes where the frame is showing Like a design/logo. ex: Wicked Mayhem lazer cut and put on there......just an idea I liked alot and am going to do

no update on progress.. motor n tranny coming back out, keeping it in garage, cab is going in shed, and bed and frame are going on side of the house for a while. im not going to be working on it for a while and theres a cat that loves my moms g8  so they want it in garage. and im kind of thinking of doing a full frame build on it anyways so when i get my own house ill start back up on it..

meh, not sad. it was my choice. id rather my moms new car sleep in garage than the luv since im not even going to be working on it for a while. the body and hopefully bed will be in the shed so it will be clear of rust etc.. wheels n tires, ladder bars, rear end, and coil overs in attic or other small shed.. if i get help i MIGHT be able to even stick my frame in the attic.. thatll be a tight squeeze though.. we will see! going to start tearing it all apart tomorrow.
