So just a quick into about me, I've been building a chevy s10 4dr, bagged,etc. But money has been tight lately so I decided to start baggin my luv with spare parts so i have somthing to drive. Tired of goign to shows with my truck in the garage.

So here is the build so far.

Started on thursday after work, worked some friday morn, and today.

the bed was a pain in the ass, they used 10 bolts to hold it on, and ofcourse it hasnt been off the truck in 31 years.

stripped the interior, just some small wholes in the floor pan on passenger side, not to bad.

original tank, love the fact that its perfect square, no need for a fuel cell now.

Very cool! That blue bar, is that your bag bracket? and the C notch what are the dimensions? I am going to do the same to my 76 (first build) so any info would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

yes, actually i'm modifing the SD's 5 link to make a 6 link rear. Here is a link to it.

** I didnt worry about painting the tire casue I'm going to have them flipped, there is a 1 in white wall on the insides. :-)

Cut the front clip off, it was WAY rusted.
I'm just going to cut the inners out anyway so I will repalce the underside of the rails with 1x1 tubing.

You b/din it? My lays on the pinch like your picture shows and is 48". If you are just baggin it it'll be a few inches higher, maybe something like 51-52". Progess is lookin good, keep it up!

yeah, i'm gonna stock floor it to the doors. the rockers are no good and its cheaper to drop it then replace them. Atleast thats my excuse to door it anyways. :lol: :lol:

no, i think i can get it done with just the traditional. My girl is only 4'11 so no worries on headroom in there. And i may just put my cavi seats in there too and bolt them to the floor, that will give another 2 inches back.

Oh I see, I was mixed up, cuz I thought you were just gonna stock floor it, but you aren't makin a new frame you just cuttin out the floor and raisin, I'm too tall for a traditional, not to mention I love my stock floor!

LOL - yeah my crew cab frame is stock floored. I like all the room i have in it. I'm really thinkin about choppin the top on it once its back togheter.

lookin good i am going to start on my 75 parts truck that i was trying to sell so i am going to the door also i took all glass out and put it on my s-10 frame that i have it has a monster notch i will get sum pic soon keep us up dated i will do the same ok ttly
