Nice progress , looking good . Every MSD i have looks like it has been at the bottom of the ocean . I open them up, brush them out & keep them coated regularly . I ran one of Mikes converters . I was happy with the results . We have a bunch of builders in my area , so i have my tranmissions done local . Mike builds a good converter .

What do you coat them in? Some kinda of silicone spray? and On a side note when I sent my dist back to MSD for a rebuild they unlocked it and put the springs and weights back on. I never pulled the rotor off and looked, talk about chasing your tail looking for a timing problem 8O That and I have a start retard which didnt help the problem.

Bare metal protector or LPS 3 . Spray it and leave the cap off so the solvent can flash/evaporate out and leave the waxey coating.

I needed alittle more hood clearance so I broke down and finally bought a fiberglass one. Pretty good quality from unlimited products and its bolt on too. Got the base down going to shoot the clear this afternoon.

Got a few runs in at the local track on a small shot of NO2. Got some tire shake I need to address...but over all pretty happy with it so far. GoPro vid with a Viper.

The power booster wasn't working with the new motor and rear discs. So it was time to get a manuel master cylinder.. Got change the ratio and move the master cylinder up on the firewall. But it doesn't look to tough.

Got the master cylinder in and it works MUCH better than the stock power booster. I had to do alittle cutting on the firewall and move the mounting point on the pedal but WELL worth it.

Just got to fill in the hole from the old master cylinder and she will be done. You can see how much I had to move the rod attachment up to get the correct ratio.
