the yellow one is a 79 stock 4x4 and the black one is a solid axel with a buick v6

i got the black one like it is i need to fix some things on it its built weird it has a buick odd fire v6 a vega t-55 trans and a transfer case for a ww2 jeep same as the front axle the rear drive shaft is only 3 ft long and the front is about 5 ft i also cut the roof since it was rolled

There's 7 mile right? I also found some good trails up near Sherman pass, and between Ione and Colville... have you checked those areas out?

Went out snowshoeing yesterday stopped along the drive for a quick photo.
Stock 1980 4x4 - threw some weight in the back so it wouldn't be so squirly in the slush.

I would think You would snow shoe out only if You couldn't drive out. :D :roll: Must be nice being Young and full of Piss and vinegar. :lol:

Winter is long here and with around 150" - 200" snow per season so a guys gotta get out - I'd prefer a snowmobile to go in back of the luv - oh well can't have everything.

Thats a good set up for that luv. Found an old 1979 chevy luv mag owned to my uncle. Has that exact swap in it.

there's two the the black and blue one is the start of my new 1980 i bobbed the bed ten inches getting ready to put toyota sas and 36" tsl's the all black one with the missing grill is my old one with a toyota sas and 33's

4 inch body lift and 33x12.50.15 mtz's found out my 4x4 didnt work half way threw the mud, but third gear pinned compensates for 4x4 lol

did ya remember to lock the hubs? indeed 3rd pinned usually does a good job of compensating :lol:

yeah they were locked, couple days later i snapped the driveline tryin to turn my luv into a drift truck on the ice and i noticed when i put it in 4wheel the cv axles just spun and nothin happened

damn that sucks! i just kept mine in 2wd to drift in the snow and 4wd to keep it going down the road
