Hey

Like the subject says, how much power can the stock 4sp tranny and transfer case handle? So far I have a weber, pertronix, shaved 10 thousands off the head and flowed the intake manifold... this spring I hope to get a header and a Cherry Bomb Vortex muffler. I am not risking breaking anything am I? I tried looking around here, I thought I seen someone post this info before.

I dont go off road really, just mainly daily driver. I do take the Luv down to Burning Man every year, and I do load it down with maybe 800 pounds of camping gear and my buddy that rides with me.

I would eventually like to get a re-ground cam, and possibly flow the head... but not real sure about that. May end up just converting to another engine.

Thanks!

Not sure how much horsepower I am running, seems to handle everything just fine, even off road.

G200 block with flat pistons
G180 head shaved .015
pacesetter header 2 1/2 inch pipe all the way back
Magnaflow cat and muffler
Offy and Weber 32/36
Electric fan

Nice picture man! Really cool seeing the cacti in the background. I live up in Oregon, never made it to New Mexico/Arizona area yet... I want to see the desert. I do go to the Northern Nevada Desert, but it is not the same.

Alright cool this re-assures me stuff will be fine and not break then. I do plan to 4 wheel it some this winter, but nothing hardcore.

 We never have a shortage of Rocks, Dust or Thorny Plants. I used to live up in the "Jefferson" area of Cali, miss the trees and water but not the winters
