I recently purchased my second luv, a 79 4x4. It has a 2" body lift that I want to remove. Other than the lift pucks, i've noticed bumper relocation brackets, radiator relocation, and something with the steering column that need to be reversed. Is there anything additional I should look out for before or during the removal? Thanks.

Shifter boots.
Check the front brake lines where they transition from the engine compartment sheet metal to the frame attachment, reverse however they were relocated to span the 2" lift gap.
Fan shroud if it has one.

My Luv has the 2 inch body lift. Oldestisuzuist is correct on the break lines. When I installed my body lift kit, I bought longer lines and bent them to similar shape of the stock. Another thing I did was bend the shifter a little to allow clearance of through the floor.

Thanks for the advice. Did you have to modify the steering column? I think there is a section welded on mine to extend it, but its hard to know for sure. Also, I've noticed a fuel filler extension.

I did not have to modify the column it self, but I trimmed the firewall where the column goes through. The kit came with a plate that went over the hole. Perhaps the previous owner welded the plate on? Other than that, I disconnect the column at the steering box before you lower the cab. Plus drain and disconnect the front break lines. Don't want anything to bend or break when you take out the spacers from the frame.
