I have had no luck finding a 5 speed for my Luv so I am going to get some wheels for it. What size wheels and tires can I fit on a 1980 4x4 without modifications?

Thanks

I put 27 8.5 14 on my 81 isuzu pup 4x4 stock suspension .It may be identical to luv . i had to calk a couple spots on the rubber mud guards ,snug up against the fender in the wheel well/engine compartment. They had just touched at lock to lock steering. Theyre fine now, with stock suspension 4x4
cross section width 8.6",tread width 7", dia 26.8" the treads inside edge is what contacted the mud guards. Speedo is right with orig 4:10 gears

sorry, I did a 3 inch body lift to fit those tires. Making the bumper lift brackets also solved a problem with the tires rubbing. I also had to trim the fenders justa tiny bit, maybe a 1/4 inch. I cant imagine fitting bigger tires without doing a straight axle swap.
