weber carb from ebay 32/36 DGEV or 38mm outlaw $300-500
Header is the pace setter header 70-1105 i think is the mfct.# $150-200
electric fan. electric dizzy. one wire alt. straight pipe exhaust get nearly 180hp out of the 1.8l

but if you can find a g200 block and throw a g180 head on top it will give you higher compression and more tourqe
and the g200 is nearly the same weight as the g180.

find all you need on amazon and ebay.
ebay is good for new old stock.

hope this helps. have a good one!

They were all 1.8 I think. Up until 1981 at least. On the side of the block you'll see a G180 or if it has been swapped to the bigger bore block it will have G200.

82 or 83 is when the 1.9L came out. it was the only gas engine tell 86 when the 2.3L came out.
86\87 the 1.9L is a 2WD only engine. not sold after that......

86\87 the 1.9L was only sold with a 4sp and 3.42 rear gear.
the other years 82\85 it was sold with a 5sp\3.73 or the 4sp\3.42 "in the 2WDs"

mixing the 3.42 with the 5sp you need smaller then stock tires :!:

the 1.9L is in the same engine family as the 1.8L thus many many things inter change.
