 Post subject: buick 3.8 v6 fit?

will it fit in a 79 4x4 with the oil pan not hitting the front axle?

Stock IFS front axle-PROBABLY NOT
SAS conversion front axle-YES, this used to be a popular kit for 4x4 conversions, available from several sources. Coupled to a TH350 or 700R4 it fit well and doubled the hp, torque & cubes of the stock 4cyl.

any chance you could get a pic of the engine and mounts? i have been considering doing that swap with some pan modification if possible
