How do i get the shaft out my old outer cv so i can fit it to the new cv? :?

I don't know. I wanted to get mine apart to put on a new boot. I ended up using a universal boot that is split, and screws together. I'm not sure how well it's going work either. :cry:

Clamp the bar in a vise, and knock it off with a brass hammer. The bar has a split ring that holds the outer cup on. Brass works best so as not to scar up the cup, but if you are replacing and it becomes stubborn you can use a 2 lb sledge. Hope this helps.
