yes but i have limited money and i have a trans with good guts the case is bad. so i am gona learn how to take a 4speed 4wd trans apart and put it in my good case no money needed for that and troopers are hard to find here in junk yards...... so heres my new pics of my trans that i pulled out to day. my head with i think the head gasket is wrong for 1.8, felpro gasket is for 2.0 i looked at some interesting stuff about the head gasket there is no meat in between 1-2 and 3-4 there can and should be almost .066 of meat on the gasket in thos spots i have looked at specs for 1.9 aka 2.0 g200 block and head gasket is for a bored out 1.8 witch comes out to about .066 witch in turn is bored out makes it a 1.9 block so not the correct gasket for app so i am making my own from copper. and theres a pic of my 3in collector header

its out of my parts truck the moved it or towed it and it was in 4wd locked front drive busted and hit the case every thing in side is still good lucky for me. i have a 2wd trans and the case will fit just fine have to remove a few pins and put in the threaded pins back in it and it goes back together. i tested the case and it fit all i need now is some sily stuff and ill be ready to filler up with 10w30 and set it aside engine gets put back together and clutch then put it back in all in 1 time if no complications there is always that . all thats left on the parts truck is back window front window and front diff, hubs and a arms and gear box

Memory may be failing, I don't think the 2WD and 4WD cases are the same.

gen1 and gen2 2WDs have different tranys.

gen2 2WD front housings can be interchanged with a 4WD 4sp if they both have the 6 bolt front bearing retainer.

the filler plug on the 4WD 5spds is about a 3/4"~ higher up, so dont put a 4sp 4WD housing or a 2WD one, on a 4WD 5 sp :!:
you will starve it for oil.
