I've been told that in order to keep my 4x4, I would have to replace with the same 1.8 Isuzu motor. I would like to be able to put a V6 in and keep my 4x4. I'm wondering if it's possible, and if so, what engine and transmission should I look for. The truck will be used for putting around a small town and off road hill climbing here in the Southern Arizona mountains. Any help about this would be great. People around my town keep feeding me contradicting information. Thanks.
