Hi folks.

Cranked the torsion bars, got the lift up front i wanted, no worries.

Tossed these helper springs on and got zero....not an ounce higher than they were....wrong item??

Might have to put longer shackles on with several holes in it until you get the ride height you want then cut off the rest.

go to junk yard and get a set of coil springs off the front of a older
car put them between the frame and rear end. you can make the
mounts with large muffler clamps. cut the top bump stop to fit
inside of the coil. dont put LONG shackles on, it makes the LUV
look like it came from south of the border

You need a add a leaf, not a overload spring-

Autozone should have a long generic helper spring set in stock for about $40. Mount it on top of your short overload, under the rest of the springpack. You will need longer center bolts, maybe u-bolts if you don't currently have about 1/2" thread sticking through the nuts.
