Having seen a number of posts about boots, here is what I have used.
They are made by PTC. cv boot kit 99059. These puppys bolt together and they are easy to do. So far (about 9mo) no leaks no cracks no problems.
I am pretty sure I got them from Advance auto parts. They come with bolts, clamps and grease. try them.
Correction!! I got them from partsamerica.com Their sku# 3372111.

I got mine from Autozone for around $12. I don't remember the brand and I'm not sure about the quality between them but price is probably about the same after shipping. These just buttoned up with small screws. The only problem I could see is that they didn't look water proof. If you got into heavy mud or water I think they would allow for contamination to the grease.

I've been considering using one of these. I don't like the bolt together kind, but I don't want to be replacing a CV either. I need to do a full front end tear down eventually but for 10 bucks this would keep things cleaner until I get time to do it. Good to hear some positive feedback and some negative.

That was exactly my thinking. The ones I used weren't perfect but until I could get around to do the full rebuild they would work really well.

They have to be better than the 1/2 a boots I have on mine right now. I have a torn inner on one side and a torn outer on the other.
