For reference I had 205/75r15s on my s-10 with 2.8l v6 and 3.73 stock gears... I didn't upgrade until i got my 33s and maybe a bit after... I did however run 31s with stock gearing for a while. it wasn;t a race car by any means but it seemed to perform OK offroad as far as the amounting of clutch use that was needed. There is a basic chart some where for tire size: highway RPMs... just do a search for tire size:gear ratio and i'm sure you'll come up with something. I think if i remember right the luv is 4.10s... or 3.73... I can't remember, either way though you should be on the edge of needing to regear, you could squeeze but on 33s but you would hate it. But as far as street driving it's a truck, you shouldnt be planning on going to crazy fast anyways....unless you have a cop car motor.... of which i know nothing about

for 31's it would be best to run 4.56's...engine would a LOT happier.

I am running 33X12.50 on mine with the stock 4.56 gears with no problem. I am getting ready to do a solid axle swap and run 35" tires and 5.88 gears. :D
