They were ok (just ok) when the top was down, but I never saw any vert mini I really liked when the top was up.

Nice! Thanks drummer!

A bit expensive ($400.00 for the removable hard-top version) and it looks a bit technical to do - but definitely doesn't look impossible.

And a removable hard-top on a Luv sure would be sweet!

Never understood why they cost so much, the kit is only the trim pieces that go on the top and cab to seal and 4 latches, not much in materials at all. They are fairly easy to do (just very scary) I have done 3 of them back in the early 90's on my buddies trucks, would never do it to any of my vehicles and they are very hard to keep from leaking. But they are cool to cruise around with the top off, esp in the Nissan in the 3rd pic. 8)

and can be a real bad (or good thing) depending on the circumstances, I dont think my best friend would have survived if the top hadn't come off and he was thrown clear befor the truck landed on the drivers side.
