I'm thinkin about swaping my 1980 4x4 luv (with 1.8 engine)from points 2 electronic dist. I saw on here somewhere where a guy said 2 take the dissy out of a 82 and it would fit but every parts store I've checked they can get the dissy but can't get the module. This might be a stupid question but I'm not much of a mechanic. Another thing is I tried looking on the internet for one and they ask if it's a 5 1/2 inch or a 10 inch. What do I have 2 do 2 figure this out? Pull the one thats in it out? And if so where do I measure from. (I've looked all over it and can't find a part number) from what I've read on here the best up grades 4 a luv are swaping the dissy 2 electronic ignition and putting on a weber. Thanks for the advice guys I'm so glad that stumbled up on this websight. This has saved me a lot of time.
