I have a boot kit for 3 bucks. split boots I heard are a no no.

ya. i had a aplit boot on mine. then i nosed into a ravine and would have been able to get out but the joint blew. i blame it on the boot...

i dont think i have had boots that are in one piece now for 2 years. I just hose em out with wd40 and stuff new greas in em every oil change. Its alot easier than pulling shafts to replace the boots... :lol:
