i have some sort of header on my stock engine and it sounds like a lawnmower!! i hate it. i want a snap not a hum i want like a raspy LOUD crack is there any way to do this with out disconnecting the exhaust pipe and burning race gas?lol

define disconnecting, does that mean you dont want to unbolt anything?

i think that if i disconnetc the exhasut pipe at the header and burn high octane race gas, ill get a nice sound. but i want to be street legal and have a nice crack in my exhaust sound

Take it to an muffler shop, and have them run a new down pipe from your collecter, then have them put a glass pack on it, and have it exit right in from of your drivers side rear tire. It's loud, but you can still hear the stereo.

Use all 2 1/2 inch exhaust pipe, then add a cheapo small auto parts store stock after market muffler behind a cherry bomb glasspack and you will still sound OK and you won't get hassled by any cops.

It's only loud when you put your foot into it and the rest of the time you can cruise right by the cops.

are the cherry bombs too loud for steet? can the cherry bombs be made street legal with just adding pipe? the gas tank is on the driver side is it ok to run the exhaust pipe under the gas tank? it dont sound like a good idea.
