depends on the back spacing of the rim and what truck the rims came off of. I'll put it to ya this way..stick Isuzu Trooper rims (circa 84-91) have a neutral offset...thats what your looking for.

What is the correct stock size for a 4x4 tire? I've got 195/70's on it now. I was following the wife on 1-5 tonight with a new bunkbed in back, and she phoned to ask if I was OK. Apparently she was only doing 60 and I was lagging behind. One profile size is only 3% difference @ 60 mph and my speedo said about 67, so something is way off.

I have 195/75R14's on the 2x...should I put them on the 4x4? Or are those too small too?

195/75-R14 is about as close as you can get to the original stock size. 4x4s came stock with a slightly wider tire I believe, but the same diameter. I've run 205/75s and the speedo was close enough to dead on I never noticed.
