i have a wrecked chevy luv diesel 81 2x4 5 spd long bed. my friend gave me an 80 short bed 2x4 frame. im going to get the short bed body and the diesel because the other one my brother hit a drunk idian(no joke). i know what to do to the other stuff mostly, just wondering what exactly i would have to do to make the 2 to a four wheel drive if so even possible.. i want to steel the axle of a gas so that i can get the same power and speed with x bigger tires as i do stalk. would it be easier to take the idependant axle off a luv or solid and modify to leaf springs? any info to do with this job would help tremendously. i dont have very much money but i live in the bonnies so i could take the parts off other trucks. so am i dreaming... sorry for being so confusing i dont know how else to descibe it. can u believe im only 14 :?

i think the flywheel takes around 100. Im not shure though. The tranny should take 35. Ill check my shop manual at lunch.
