#1. You need to have your leaf perches cut off and welded on top of the axle at the proper pinion angle/a c-piece welded in.

#2. It lifts it WAAAYY up. As in 7 and 3/8's inches higher than it was.

#3. You have to fab a brake line bracket.

#4. Your driveshaft will hit one of the middle crossmembers and the exhaust, forcing you to cut out the crossmember and exhaust, and weld them both in somehow where they don't hit the driveshaft.

Nonetheless, I'm glad I did it, however I'm really hoping the Trooper control arms will lift the front some. Its sitting with some mad rake right now. Just trying to let people know what they're getting into.

Good to know all of this for when I get started. Could you possibly use some ball joint spacers up front? I know a bunch of IFS Toyota guys use them.

Go to Independent 4X.com for spacers for the trooper control arms. I got a set and they even come with the proper grade 8 bolts

How much lift are you getting out on the front end of your LUV with the control arms and the flipped ball joint and the ball joint spacers? Or did you flip your ball joints?
