Could someone tell me on an 80 model if the cv halfshafts are held into the front diff with keepers that have to be removed from inside the diff housing or do they just simply pull out?

where did you get the breakdown of that i have been looking for a breakdown of the front axle can you post more of it

my story is i bought a 1980 4x4 chevy luv the ifs was all torn out of it and i bought all the parts that i thought i would need and from the pictures you have it is apperant that i dont have all of them so any help is greatly appreiciated btw i paid $300 for it to keep it from going to the scrap yard
